Mentoring programmes

American Physical Society

  • The APS Industry Mentoring for Physicists (IMPact) program connects students and early career physicists from any country with industrial physicists worldwide for the purpose of providing career guidance.
  • The first year of APS membership is free for undergrads and graduate students, with additional discounts until graduation.
  • In 1983, the American Physical Society established the Matching Membership Program in order to make APS membership available to physicists living in developing and hard-currency-poor countries. Through the Matching Membership Program, individuals residing in developing countries may apply for free membership (Matching Membership).
